Safety is #1!  Trucks are kept in top running condition.  Monitors and hydraulic cots are routinely inspected and maintained.  Our squads don't post at locations.  

After successfully completing a 90-day probation period, full time employees are eligible to receive a performance pay increase, participate in the medical insurance plan and receive employer paid life insurance and AD&D.  AFLAC plans are availableVacation and personal time available.  

We are looking for EMTs and Paramedics to join our skilled and professional team!  We have immediate openings for:


Full Time EMT-B/Paramedic  24/48 hour shift

This 24-hour shift allows individuals the perfect opportunity to lessen travel time and costs!  We are easily accessible being located 1 1/2 miles from I-71. Perfect for individuals also serving on departments.  Employees receive 16 hours regular pay and 8 hours downtime pay each shift and have the opportunity to qualify for overtime and full shift pay.  

Emergency Medical Technician (PARAMEDIC)

1.       Must be currently licensed in the State of Ohio and/or nationally registered as an EMT –       Paramedic.

2.       Must have a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider certificate form the American           Heart Association.

3.       Must have a current Basic Cardiac Life Support provider certificate from the American Heart    Association.

4.       Must be knowledgeable regarding the State of Ohio’s laws regarding the functioning of          EMT’s and paramedics.

5.       Must be able to pass a written, oral, and practical EMT and paramedic level test administered    by Carlson Ambulance Service educational section.

6.       If driving, must have a valid State of Ohio  driver’s license and a good driving record.

7.       Must physically be able to fulfill the role on the scene without harm to self or patients.

8.       Suggested having 1-2 years previous paramedic experience with an emergency medical            service.

Ambulette Wheelchair Van Driver
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record
  • 20-25 hours per week. Times & days vary per week
  • Per State Law: Background check by Medina County Sheriff’s Office
  • First Aid & CPR certificate: classes available to employees at no charge
  • Drug test
  • Physical ability to push, pull and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to use a GPS
  • Ability to work alone
